Outer Space Unit Pictures

Greetings Preschool Families!

What a great Outer Space Unit we just wrapped up! This is always one of my favorite units that we do and it is one that could stretch over many weeks or months! The children always love learning about what is most familiar to them -- the sky that they see from their own windows and back yards. Throughout the month, we became astronauts and journeyed further into space and were able to learn  about what is going on in that "final frontier". In addition to various developmental objectives, during this unit we learned about some environmental components of the Earth and Space, weather and seasons, and the sky through various types of literature, math activities, art projects, and of course play. We were able to snap some cute photos along the way...check them out!!

What a "BLAST"!! Well, now that March is upon us we dive right into more fun & learning with an art appreciation unit we call "Creative Me" plus a whole month dedicated to Dr. Seuss! Stay tuned for some more fun new photos to come.

Warmest Regards,

CCP
