Field Trip Photos/Last week of School

Greetings Everyone,

I hope everyone enjoyed a nice, relaxing three-day weekend! May has sure been a fun month for the preschoolers. We celebrated the last week of our Transportation Unit with a super fun field trip to the Depot. The children got to ride the DTA there (which is a trip in itself), tour the Depot, and have a picnic and playtime at Play Front park. Here are some fun pictures from the trip:

I think this means we had an exciting time:

This upcoming week marks the last week of preschool!!!! We are having a wacky week this week so please refer to your calendar for the scheduled days. Also, please note: with the upcoming preschool graduation if there is rain, Patti will decide by 2:00pm if we will move the ceremony to the Pilgrim Church Sanctuary. There will be a message left on our answering machine. The kids have been working really hard on putting together a program for this special event, and we hope to see you all there!!!

Warmest regards,

Graduation Update and Other News

Hello, Everyone!

I have an announcement about the Graduation Potluck:

We've had a wonderful donation come in via Heather Seyfer of plates, cups, napkins, utensils, and punch; so you now no longer have to worry about providing your own! Thanks, Heather! Also, some people have been asking me if the Graduation ceremony is only for the families of children who are going to kindergarten next year, and the answer is: NO! The party is for everyone! All the preschoolers worked very hard this year and have a lot of accomplishments to celebrate! So bring a lawn chair, bring some friends, and meet us at Old Main on Friday,  May 30th at 5:00pm.

INCASE OF RAIN: In the slight chance that it rains on Graduation Friday, the ceremony will be held inside the Pilgrim Church sanctuary. We will decide by 2:00pm in which you can call the school and we will have a message on the answering machine.

Also- due to the high volume of snow days, we have decided to STAY OPEN on Friday, May 16th! We even scheduled a fun field trip on Friday where we will be taking the DTA to the Duluth Depot. This would be a wonderful trip to chaperone if you are free, so please sign up with one of the teachers if you are interested.

Thanks again to everyone who's lent a hand in the preparation of the end of the year party and especially the Seyfer family for their generous donation. We appreciate you so much!!

Warmest regards,

Ms. Jakki
