Winter Pics

Hi Everyone!! Here's a peek at some fun pictures from the past month:

Our 5 Senses unit was a blast. Miss Patti set up an Eye Glass Doctor Office in the art room, and everyone loved pretending to buy glasses. Here are some yellow group boys clowning around (and seriously...how CUTE is Kingston in those grannie glasses?!):

Everyone's favorite thing to do is play outside. We have a group of girls who love to do a lot of snow baking.  Snow cupcakes. Snow brownies. Snow cookies. You name it. They make it. They eat it. (And the teachers discourage it because, I'm sorry but, it's just down right gross. But they don't care. Snow's on the menu, and let's be honest...we've all done it!)

And everyone's discovered the snow pants + slide combo. I call it slide jumping. It's much similar to ski-jumping, except all you do is go down the slide in your snow pants and you can really fly.

And here's a cute picture of Josie making her candy Christmas tree. (I'm not sure which one is sweeter!)

Happy Holidays everyone! I hope you all find yourselves warmly snuggling one of these precious little gifts over the holiday break.

December 10th

Hello everyone!

Here's a quick update to keep us on track for our busy week:

Wednesday, Dec. 12th is our Holiday Sing-a-long. It's at 10:00am, refreshments will be served, and our book fair will also take place during this time.

Thursday, Dec. 13th is our parent's night out from 5-8. There's still room to sign up, so please do so if you'd like a little night off. Dinner (gluten-free*) will be served!

Our letters this week are Nn & Oo.

Stay warm!!!

First Week of December

This week at CCP:

This week we transition out of our 5 Senses unit and into a unit on winter. We will be learning about seasonal changes, animals that hibernate, weather, and having fun in the snow. We will be taking the preschoolers outside everyday. It's a lot of work getting into our snow gear, but its worth it once we get outside. We've had a lot of fun sledding, making snow angels, and getting lots of exercise pushing trucks around in the snow.

Don't forget about our busy week next week: Tuesday field trip to Mt. Royal Pines at 10am, Wednesday Holiday Sing-along at 10am, and Parent's Night Out on Thursday night. If you can help out any of those events, please talk to a teacher.

This week we focus on the letters Pp & Qq. Here are links to the letter songs:
